Ruth Park was a revolutionary writer, who used to challenge the social norms through her books. She was a Kiwi who moved to Australia to marry her pen pal.
She was appointed a member of the Order of Australia for her services to literature. Her books, including ‘When the Wind Changed’, won a lot of literary awards. This book was written in 1980 but the humour is still fresh. If you want to have a chuckle, do read this book.
